Isn't this just the most beautiful of things? Well done that artist.PS The hunting dog, whose name also happens to be Chester, is inexplicably fascinated by this little picture. His big hunting nose scents the air as he passes by. We wonder if it is something to do with the egg tempra and some residual eggy smell.

How very talented your artist is!. Some of the really ancient icons are so beautiful, you can see why they are colectors pieces.

At first I thought this was a photo of the original piece, but then I read that the dog could smell the egg tempera..and was stunned! You've got quite the artist there!!
And - from reading further back - You've got sheep!! Sigh - I love wool - and am insanely jealous of people who own sheep - silly isn't it?
